Welcome

Clover Spring Farm is an agriculturally-preserved family farm in the rolling hills of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The farm is located along the banks of Octoraro Creek, bordering Lancaster and Chester counties near Andrews Bridge.

Primary activities of the farm include all-natural, grass-fed beef, quality horse hay and straw sales, and traditional field crops.

We pride ourselves on our environmental stewardship and are committed to a number of conservation practices including no-till farming, winter cover crops, rotational grazing and organic pest control.

Activities

Cow eating grass

All-natural, grass-fed Angus beef

We offer 100% grass-fed, Angus beef. Our cattle do not receive antibiotics or hormones. We are committed to providing the healthiest and highest quality beef.

Apples

Organic apples

Currently, we have 18 varieties of organic apples for both fresh fruit and for processing.

Haybales

Hay and Straw Sales

We sell small and large bales of straw, horse hay (a grass/clover mix), alfalfa, and a high-protein, fescue grass hay for cattle. Bales can be picked up on the farm or delivered.

Greenhouse

Native plant nursery

About 2,500 native trees and shrubs are grown in our nursery each year. They are used primarily in conservation projects to protect stream banks, minimize wind erosion and to improve wildlife habitat.
